Akrapovic Evolution Exhaust System for the Kawasaki KX 450 F (2006)
The Akrapovic Evolution is designed for riders who expect a lot from their exhaust system and know how to take advantage of every increase in performance. Our system offers a major performance increase, lower weight and high-quality workmanship. The muffler is the HEXAGONAL design, giving an added aesthetic effect. It is designed for two markets: for the European and other markets it comes with a built-in noise damper, and for the American market it comes with an approved spark arrester.

PERFORMANCE
Measurements of the Akrapovic EVOLUTION system on the KAWASAKI KX 450 F (without spark arrester & noise damper):
Power & Torque: the Akrapovic Evolution system delivers increased performance throughout nearly the entire rpm range. As it is designed for more serious riders it does not affect performance at the low end, while it shows its true racing colors from the middle of the range on, especially at the top end where the power curve is significantly longer. At 9100 rpm we measured the max. power of 49 HP and also the max. increased power of 2.8 HP.

CONFIGURATION
The system is composed of a conical titanium header tube and a conical titanium link pipe. The components are connected with a sleeve joint held together with a siliconshielded spring. The link pipe is welded to the third component of the system – the muffler. The muffler is HEXAGONAL and goes extremely well with the design of the Kawasaki. Because of the weld between the muffler and link pipe, the inlet cap is also made of titanium, as is the inner perforated sleeve and of course the outer sleeve. The outlet cap for this model is made of carbon-fiber. The muffler is attached to the frame with an Akrapovic offroad carbon-fiber clamp. The system also includes an Akrapovic carbon-fiber heat shield mounted on the header tube. The muffler is designed for two markets: for the European and other markets it comes with a built-in noise damper, and for the American market it comes with an approved spark arrester.
